Position Overview

Oliveda is seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Physicist with experience in the beauty, skincare, or medical aesthetics industry. This role focuses on the development, modeling, and optimization of RF-based technologies used in advanced beauty and skincare devices.

The ideal candidate combines strong theoretical expertise in electromagnetics with hands-on experience in RF systems applied to skin treatment technologies such as tightening, lifting, and rejuvenation.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced electromagnetic theory to design and optimize RF systems for beauty and aesthetic applications
• Develop and model RF-based technologies used in skincare and cosmetic devices
• Analyze electromagnetic field interaction with biological tissue (skin and subdermal layers)
• Conduct simulation and modeling of RF energy distribution using industry-standard tools
• Collaborate with engineering, and product teams to develop next-generation beauty devices
• Perform testing, validation, and performance analysis of RF-based aesthetic technologies
• Support prototype development and system integration of RF hardware in beauty devices
• Develop methods for signal analysis and optimization of RF performance in cosmetic applications
• Ensure safety, efficacy, and compliance with beauty and medical aesthetic standards
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership and CEO

Required Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field with specialization in RF or Electromagnetics
• Strong background in electromagnetic theory and RF wave propagation
• Experience applying RF technologies in beauty, medical devices, or aesthetic equipment
• Experience in RF system design, modeling, and signal analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate complex physics concepts into product innovation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF-based aesthetic technologies (skin tightening, anti-aging, body contouring)
• Knowledge of RF device architecture used in beauty or medical aesthetics
• Experience with RF testing equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators)
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI standards and regulatory frameworks (FDA, CE, etc.)
• Experience with advanced signal processing in biological or cosmetic applications

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-Time, On-site (Culver City, CA)
• Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life \& Health Insurance, plus 401(k)
