Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled VFX / 3D Artist with strong experience in Cinema 4D, Redshift, and Houdini to produce premium visual work across commercial, branded, and narrative projects. This role requires a balance of creative sensibility and technical expertise, particularly in procedural workflows and simulation

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 3D assets, lighting, shading, and final renders using Cinema 4D and Redshift
  • Utilize Houdini for procedural modeling, simulations, FX, and complex scene development
  • Build and maintain scalable, efficient Houdini-to-Cinema 4D/Redshift workflows
  • Execute strong look development aligned with creative direction and brand standards
  • Integrate 3D and VFX elements into live-action and editorial pipelines
  • Optimize scenes for render performance, stability, and visual quality
  • Maintain clean, organized, and production-ready project files
  • Collaborate closely with creative directors, producers, editors, and fellow artists
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and propose efficient, sustainable solutions

Qualifications

  • 3\+ years' experience in the media/entertainment industry
  • Strong proficiency in Cinema 4D, Houdini, and Unreal Engine
  • Advanced experience with Redshift, including lighting, shading, and render optimization
  • Proven hands-on experience with Houdini, including:

+ Procedural modeling

+ Simulations (particles, fluids, destruction, or FX)

+ Node-based workflows and performance optimization

  • Solid understanding of 3D/VFX pipelines, asset management, and production workflows
  • Experience working in collaborative, team-based production environments
  • Ability to interpret creative direction and iterate efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail, timing, and visual polish
  • Amenable to work 4pm-1am, Mon-Fri onsite.
  • Nice to Have:

+ Advanced Houdini FX work (Pyro, Vellum, POPs, fluids, destruction, or crowds)

+ Experience moving assets between Houdini, Cinema 4D, Redshift, and Unreal Engine

+ Compositing experience using After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion

+ Familiarity with ACES or color-managed pipelines

+ Scripting or technical workflow development experience

+ Motion design or animation background
