Job Description
Sign On Bonus - $7500 to eligible candidates
Relocation Bonus - $3000 to eligible candidates
Schedule: Mon - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Demonstrates the acquisition of knowledge and skills required to perform duties independently as a qualified Medical Physicist. Collaborates with the program faculty and Committee to assess overall performance and readiness for certification. Other duties as assigned. Performs clinical training activities under the supervision of a qualified medical physicist, including monthly, daily, and annual QA, machine commissioning, treatment planning, dosimetry, and chart checking. Follows a clinical rotation training schedule as detailed in the residency program handbook. Attends departmental meetings and clinical seminars as part of the residency program. Undergoes evaluations after each clinical rotation by the rotation mentor and residency program faculty. Completes competencies, submits reports, and passes an oral exam as part of the evaluation process. Receives feedback and recommendations from faculty based on performance in each rotation topic. Maintains attendance records and achieves a satisfactory oral exam score. Utilizes imaging technology and ensures radiation safety in all clinical activities. Participates in specialized procedures.

- Advance computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of radiation oncology electronics and other medical devices
