Compensation:

$65,000 - $70,000

Position Overview

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting daily human resources operations and ensuring a positive employee experience. This position will manage core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to implement HR policies and programs effectively.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding coordination
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and confidential documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll processing and coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters by addressing employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR regulations
  • Coordinate employee training, onboarding, and professional development initiatives
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and company culture programs
  • Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and timekeeping processes
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims, documentation, and follow-up activities
  • Prepare disciplinary notices, support corrective action procedures, and maintain related records

Required Experience/Skills

  • 2\+ years of HR experience preferred, with knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address employee concerns
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; experience with ADP preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
  • Experience with payroll or benefits administration
  • Familiarity with compliance audits and reporting processes
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Continuing education in HR compliance and employment law is a plus
  • Professional development in HR systems and technology preferred

Benefits
