Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in transforming operational and business data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate is passionate about data storytelling, dashboard development, process optimization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve performance through business intelligence solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and reporting automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, operational gaps, and business opportunities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extracts
• Support ETL processes and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
• Develop KPI tracking and performance reporting for operational and leadership teams
• Create and maintain data models that improve reporting efficiency and usability
• Partner with IT, Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams to support data-driven initiatives
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within reporting workflows
• Assist with predictive analytics, forecasting, and trend analysis initiatives
• Provide end-user training and support to improve BI tool adoption across the organization
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and business logic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field
• 3–5\+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or Business Systems Analysis
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, including dashboard development and DAX calculations
• Strong SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
• Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts
• Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within logistics, supply chain, transportation, manufacturing, or operations environments
• Familiarity with Tableau, SSRS, Azure, Snowflake, or other BI platforms
• Experience with predictive analytics or forecasting models
• Understanding of ERP, CRM, or operational systems integrations
• Knowledge of Python or other analytics/programming tools is a plus
