Business Central Business Analyst (Remote)

We are seeking a Business Central Business Analyst to support and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across a fast-paced, growing organization. This role will act as a key bridge between business users, technical teams, and external partners to ensure ERP systems are optimized, stable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across finance, operations, supply chain, and sales
  • Troubleshoot ERP issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external vendors
  • Support system integrations including EDI, WMS, CRM, and third-party applications
  • Participate in ERP enhancements, upgrades, and migration projects (including cloud transitions)
  • Lead and support UAT, system testing, and data validation activities
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business decision-making
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend process improvement and automation opportunities
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve workflows, data integrity, and system adoption

Required Experience

  • 2–5\+ years experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV
  • Strong background in business analysis, ERP support, or functional consulting
  • Experience with system testing, UAT, and requirements gathering
  • Exposure to integrations (EDI, APIs, or third-party systems)
  • Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as supply chain, finance, or operations
  • Experience with reporting tools and/or SQL is an asset

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting ERP migrations or cloud upgrades
  • Knowledge of warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with EDI platforms and troubleshooting integration issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and scalability
