Senior Network Engineer

SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

The position requires expertise in network analysis, deployments, and troubleshooting focusing on Cisco's architecture for voice, and integrated data. Duties include all phases of the project lifecycle to include documentation, implementation, technical project management and support. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Requirements:

Must have great customer service skills, strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, ability to perform work independently and/or in a team environment and must be highly motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable interacting with clients via phone, e-mail, in person, etc.

Technical skills:

• Problem solving and troubleshooting medium to complex technical issues, while efficiently communicating with end-users through ticketing system
• Proficient in security firewalls (Cisco ASA FirePower, SonicWall, Palo Alto, etc) and other technologies (MFA, Intrusion Prevention)
• Strong knowledge of WiFi infrastructure (i.e. Cisco wireless lan controllers) and site surveys, troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of VoIP, ASA, VPN
• Knowledge of VMware infrastructure, virtualization, cloud infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications (CallManager/Unity/CCX) and QoS a plus

Qualifications:

• CCNP switching and routing, CCNP-Voice is a plus. VCP certification a plus
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field, or long years of solid experience
• Prefer certifications equivalent to Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP). Familiarity with Virtualization technologies

Qualifications:

• Experience in Network Engineering
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field, or solid year’s of experience
• Prefer certifications with Cisco, such as CCNP, Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP). VMware VCP credential, familiar with Virtualization technologies
• Be able to legally work in the US
• Valid driver's license \& clean driving record
• Be able to pass a background check
