Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly analytical and business-minded Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear business insight and wants exposure to strategic decision-making in a fast-moving fintech environment. If you’re passionate about learning, creating value, and advancing your career in an organization, this is the place for you.

You’ll work closely with finance leadership, product, analytics, operations, and executive stakeholders to support forecasting, performance analysis, pricing strategy, KPI reporting, and operational decision-making.

This is not just a “close the books and move on” finance role. We want someone curious, commercially aware, and energized by solving business problems with data. We’re especially interested in candidates who are excited about how AI and automation can improve business operations, financial visibility, and decision-making across the organization

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities)

1\. Infuses the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction.

2\. Build and maintain financial models related to revenue, pricing, profitability, customer behavior, and operational performance.

3\. Analyze KPIs and identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.

4\. Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, and long-range strategic modeling.

5\. Develop dashboards and reporting that help leaders make faster, smarter decisions.

6\. Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, analytics, and operations teams.

7\. Gather business context and operational insights directly from stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy and decision support.

8\. Translate complex financial and operational data into concise recommendations for leadership.

9\. Assist with board materials, investor reporting, and executive presentations.

10\. Conduct ad hoc analyses tied to growth initiatives, market opportunities, and business optimization.

11\. Improve reporting automation and data integrity across finance systems.

12\. Help evaluate unit economics, customer acquisition efficiency, and portfolio performance.

13\. Provide backup support for accounting processes.

14\. Help identify opportunities to improve internal AI, automation, and analytics capabilities across finance and business operations.

15\. Collaborate with technical and business teams to evaluate how AI tools can streamline reporting, surface insights faster, and improve operational efficiency.

16\. Experience in fintech, SaaS, banking, or payments.

17\. Familiarity with customer acquisition economics (CAC, LTV, retention metrics).

18\. Exposure to AI tools, workflow automation, or data enrichment platforms.

19\. Experience supporting executive or board-level reporting.

20\. MBA, CFA, or progress toward advanced certifications.

21\. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications)

1\. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a quantitative discipline.

2\. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.

3\. Experience working with large datasets and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar.

4\. A passion for AI-enabled analytics, process automation, and operational intelligence tools.

5\. Ability to communicate insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.

6\. Strong business intuition and problem-solving mindset.

7\. Comfortably operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

8\. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to understand how the details map to the big picture.

9\. 2–5 years of experience in FP\&A, strategic finance, analytics, consulting, investment banking, or related fields.

10\. Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.

11\. Kasasa values the importance of flexibility and collaboration. We offer a hybrid work model where you'll join us in the office for at least three full workdays each week, allowing for meaningful in-person connections and teamwork. The remaining two days offer the option to work remotely, providing you with the balance and autonomy to excel in your role.

12\. You will be asked to participate in culture related meetings, activities, and events. We firmly believe that building culture and teamwork in a company requires extra intentionality, and thus your participation and engagement isn’t just encouraged - it is required and part of your role responsibilities.

BONUS EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

1\. Experience in fintech, SaaS, banking, or payments.

2\. Familiarity with customer acquisition economics (CAC, LTV, retention metrics).

3\. Exposure to AI tools, workflow automation, or data enrichment platforms.

4\. Experience supporting executive or board-level reporting.

5\. MBA, CFA, or progress toward advanced certifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day
  • Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers
  • Daily operation of standard office equipment
  • Frequent use of oral communication to perform work
  • Lifts and moves 7-10 pounds occasionally
