Role: AWS Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote - Poland (Must live in Poland)
Salary: circa 22,000
zł
per month (UoP - Permanent) \+ Health \+ Benefits
Opportunity to join a well established, global, Financial Services Organisation that are undergoing a significant Cloud Transformation, we're looking for a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer to help drive cloud transformation activity, and platform engineering initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to work with some awesome tech, and help shape cloud strategy.
Role:
- Support the Group Cloud Platform Engineering function, providing hands-on engineering expertise across cloud initiatives
- Own and support the organisations cloud environments, ensuring reliability, performance, compliance, and an optimised-by-design approach
- Ensure cloud services are production-ready by working with product, infrastructure, and security teams (scalability, resilience, security, redundancy)
- Lead the build and continuous improvement of cloud services aligned with business, regulatory and industry best practice requirements
- Investigate and resolve cloud infrastructure, networking and core systems issues, providing effective operational support
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and contribute to the wider service catalogue and automation tooling
- Support cloud transformation deliverables, including landing zone/platform adoption and migration toward cloud-native technologies
Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- AWS Cloud Ops Engineer Associate (essential); AWS Developer Associate (desirable)
- Strong AWS technical knowledge across core services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda) and container/serverless patterns
- Proven experience delivering AWS deployments, migrations and cloud transformation initiatives
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code development and deployment
- Strong understanding of security and identity best practices, including IAM and least-privilege principles
- Experience working with cloud compliance standards and controls (e.g. ISO / NIST)
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills, able to work across teams and manage competing priorities
