Shopify Developer

We are currently looking to add Shopify Developers to our team who are motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for planning and developing the technical solutions that help our clients meet their goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and optimization of custom Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Highly proficient knowledge of Shopify liquid code and its advanced concepts.
• Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences
• Understanding business needs that drive project features \& functions and provide internal consultation.
• Write clean, high-quality, and testable code while enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science,
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Experienced Required

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of liquid template language.
• Strong experience in Shopify theme development using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify themes
• Strong understanding of Shopify Theme 2\.0 architecture, including JSON, customization, sections, and blocks.
• Ability to build responsive, mobile-first designs.
• Act as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the e-commerce platform.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and page speed improvements
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs, third-party app integrations, and Shopify Flow.
• Experience with Shopify's CLI.
• Experience with version control systems like Git

Additional Requirments

• Experience with the Shopify Plus Platform is a plus.
• Ability to create Shopify apps is a plus.
• A clear understanding of creating Shopify App extensions and their use cases is a plus.
• Knowledge of React frameworks (such as RemixJS), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and backend technologies (such as Node.js, Express, and API development) is a plus.
• Understanding and usage of the Shopify Admin API, REST API, GraphQL, and webhooks is a plus.
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools (such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and other AI-assisted development workflows) is a plus.
• Knowledge in other e-commerce platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce will be preferred.
