Role Description
The Department of Computer Science is seeking candidates for multiple adjunct positions. Candidate must be able to teach undergraduate Computer Science and Information Technology courses. Interested persons must be willing to support the computer science curriculum and teach assigned classes, mentor students, and abide by department and university deadlines.
Required Skills
- Teaching of a specified course, preparation of materials, providing support and guidance to students.
- Providing prompt/regular feedback to students about their academic performance.
- Reporting mid-semester and final grades electronically.
- Offer two hours of office time each week per 3 semester course hours.
- Administer Student Outcome Assessments and report findings.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Candidates holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution will be considered if they possess significant research and/or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience using Python and Pandas for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Computer Science and Information Technology regulations, policies, and ethical practices.
