  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI into existing investment research and portfolio management workflows
  • Monitor model performance, data quality, operational risks, and potential biases
  • Establish procedures for human oversight, model validation, and regulatory compliance
  • Work with portfolio managers to assess the investment implications of AI-generated insights
  • Support the development of internal policies governing the responsible use of AI in investment decision-making
  • Present AI strategy recommendations, risk assessments, and implementation proposals to senior management

Required Qualifications

  • Two to four years of experience in investment management, equity research, portfolio analysis, financial risk management, financial technology, or AI-related financial applications
  • Chartered Financial Intelligence Architect (CFIA) designation
  • Strong understanding of investment processes, financial markets, portfolio management, and risk assessment
  • Knowledge of AI systems, model risk, data governance, and the application of artificial intelligence within financial institutions
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, wealth management firm, or financial technology company
  • Experience evaluating or implementing AI tools within investment research or portfolio management
  • Familiarity with large language models, machine learning applications, and AI-assisted financial analytics
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, model risk management frameworks, and AI governance standards
  • Python, SQL, or financial data analytics experience

While a lot of the workflow will be remote, you will be expected to be physically present in the offices on certain specific days of the year.

Pay: $155,000\.00 - $185,000\.00 per year
