Position Overview

This role offers the opportunity to support the financial strategy of a rapidly growing, large-scale financial services organization. As a Senior Financial Analyst aligned to a leasing-focused portfolio, you will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.

You’ll translate complex financial data into actionable insights, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making and support continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and enhance financial forecasting and planning models for a major revenue-generating business line, providing insights to guide investment and portfolio decisions.
  • Partner with accounting and business teams to support month-end close, analyze results, and deliver forward-looking financial projections.
  • Collaborate with pricing and commercial teams to evaluate long-term profitability and inform pricing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to track product and portfolio performance for leadership.
  • Support annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Serve as a financial advisor to cross-functional stakeholders, delivering insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting efficiency through process enhancements and system utilization.
  • Perform reconciliations between financial systems and underlying data sources.
  • Contribute to executive-level presentations and business reviews.
  • Evaluate financial risks and support compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4\+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP\&A, or accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills (including data modeling and transformation tools)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CPA
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Experience in financial services, lending, or asset-based portfolios
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • SQL proficiency
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Additional Information

  • Limited travel (up to 10%) may be required
  • Candidates should be located within commuting distance of a major metropolitan area
