The platform offers instant and accessible products through a streamlined online process that requires no medical exams and minimal health questions, simplifying how life insurance is purchased, sold, and underwritten.

2\. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Strategy \& Operations (Consumer Business) reports to the Chief Growth Officer and plays a key role in accelerating the Direct-To-Consumer business. The position focuses on driving new growth initiatives from inception to completion while managing organization-wide planning, goal-setting, and resource allocation. This role ensures cross-functional teams concentrate on the highest-impact opportunities and execute efficiently. It is designed for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution in a fast-moving, complex environment involving multiple products, channels, and teams.

3\. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across an expanding product portfolio, customer lifecycle stages, and multiple acquisition and retention channels
  • Lead and manage high-impact growth initiatives end-to-end, either directly or by enabling other leaders, with accountability for outcomes
  • Build business cases, analyze unit economics, and make data-driven recommendations on pursuing new opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of product, channel, and team interactions to guide cross-functional alignment on goals and priorities
  • Oversee quarterly OKR planning and goal-setting processes to align teams on highest ROI opportunities and ensure clear execution
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships to drive business growth

4\. Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally including 2\+ years in top-tier management consulting or investment banking, followed by 2\+ years in Strategy \& Operations, Chief of Staff, or BizOps at a high-growth, venture-backed company
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering initiatives end-to-end in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to analyze complex problems in depth and apply strategic thinking for decision-making
  • Strong operator mindset with a commitment to owning outcomes and executing tasks hands-on
  • Deep understanding of multiple functional areas, earning trust through knowledge and results
  • Skilled in structured thinking to simplify complex, ambiguous challenges into actionable plans
  • Quick learner capable of mastering new concepts, channels, and product details at a fundamental level
  • Excellent communication skills, able to shift between C-level strategy and operational details effectively
  • Decisive with a bias for action and speed, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information

5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 - $226,000\. This range reflects minimum and maximum target salaries across US locations, with individual pay determined by location, skills, experience, and education. The range covers base salary only and excludes applicable bonuses, equity, or benefits.
