Here at Co-op Live, we are looking for a People \& Culture Business Partner - this is no ordinary HR role. It’s a dynamic, true generalist opportunity where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in shaping our people experience from the ground up - supporting our teams, managing HR systems, and developing policies that reflect who we are and how we work. At the heart of this role is employee relations, where you’ll act as a trusted expert and coach to our managers, guiding them through complex cases and people challenges with confidence and care. You’ll play a vital role in building leadership capability, ensuring we deliver consistent, legally sound, and values‑driven people practices across the organisation.
You’ll also be instrumental in driving performance, engagement, and inclusion, helping to shape a workplace where everyone feels connected, supported, and able to thrive. From delivering impactful performance management to championing initiatives that strengthen wellbeing, communication, and belonging across our diverse workforce.

Salary: Up to £45,000 - £48,000 dependent on experience \+ Benefits

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, expertise, and a real passion for people. You’ll be CIPD Level 5 qualified with strong employment law knowledge and a proactive, can‑do mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, buzzing environment. A natural team player with broad generalist experience, you’ll be confident supporting and constructively challenging stakeholders at all levels, while delivering practical, people‑focused solutions.
You’ll love variety, bring a flexible approach, and be motivated by getting things done and making an impact. Experience with HR systems is key, and if you’ve worked with large casual workforces, in an arena or similarly complex environment, or have strong project management skills - even better.
