Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Zagreb.

We are looking to expand our QA team across multiple domain specializations. We are hiring Mid and Senior QA Engineers across four distinct positions:

• QA Engineer – Web
• QA Engineer – Mobile
• QA Engineer – Backend
• QA Engineer – Embedded

You will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases within your domain, ensuring products meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Day-to-day work includes creating and maintaining test documentation, performing manual and automated testing, logging and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues.

The role involves contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting releases through regression testing and verification of fixes. You will also participate in sprint activities, provide clear feedback on product quality, and help refine acceptance criteria and technical specifications.

Open Roles \& Primary Responsibilities

• QA Engineer (Web):

Plan, execute, and maintain manual and automated E2E test suites for modern web applications and responsive interfaces.

• QA Engineer (Mobile):

Validate native mobile application stability, user experience, and behavior across iOS and Android ecosystems.

• QA Engineer (Backend):

Design and execute backend integration tests, map out test coverage, and validate data flows and architecture.

• QA Engineer (Embedded):

Validate system stability, connectivity protocols, firmware updates, and hardware/software integration.

What You Bring

• QA Track Record:

2\+ years (Mid) or 5\+ years (Senior) of hands-on software or system quality assurance experience.

• Testing Foundations:

Strong grasp of modern QA methodologies, test case design, regression testing, and exploratory testing techniques.

• Defect \& Agile Lifecycle:

Proven experience isolating, documenting, and tracking bugs using standard management platforms.

• Mindset:

Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach to edge cases, and high technical execution standards.

• Communication:

Direct, clear verbal and written communication to sync efficiently with cross-functional project teams.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with automated test integration and deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in the German language.
