Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable APIs using IBM API Connect or Kong API Gateway

• Build secure and high-performance API solutions for enterprise applications

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust integration solutions

• Implement API governance, security policies, throttling, and lifecycle management

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain API integrations in production environments

• Ensure API reliability, scalability, monitoring, and performance optimization

• Contribute to best practices around API strategy, reusable components, and automation

Required Skills \& Experience

✔ 4\+ years of hands-on experience in API Development \& Integration

✔ Strong expertise in IBM API Connect and/or Kong API Gateway

✔ Solid experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture

✔ Strong understanding of API lifecycle management and API governance

✔ Experience with API Security standards such as OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, and authentication mechanisms

✔ Exposure to Cloud Platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments is an added advantage

✔ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

✔ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
