Job Description

At Zenly, we are looking for a unique HR leader to join an expanding, clinician-founded team in Raleigh. We aren't looking for someone to sit behind a desk and simply enforce policies. We need a down-to-earth partner who is as much a coach as they are a systems strategist.

Our partner provides life-changing ABA therapy for kids with autism. Because we are growing fast, we need an HR professional who can manage the essential daily engine of the company while serving as a steady, stabilizing mentor for our clinical leaders.

The Focus

  • Operations \& Payroll:

You will oversee accurate payroll processing with 100% precision and manage the full benefits administration lifecycle, including leave tracking (FMLA/LOA) and employment documentation.

  • Systems Architecture:

You will lead the transition from manual tasks to automated, scalable workflows. This includes optimizing HRIS platforms and partnering with clinic leads to ensure staffing optimization and workforce readiness.

  • Leadership Coaching:

A core pillar of this role is serving as a mentor to our clinic leads. You will provide the coaching and conflict-resolution strategies necessary to help new supervisors grow into confident, effective managers.

  • Compliance \& Playbook Design:

You will architect department-specific HR Playbooks and SOPs. Your goal is to ensure expert-level adherence to employment laws (FLSA, EEO) and healthcare regulations (HIPAA) while keeping systems user-friendly.

  • Lifecycle Management:

You will drive the Performance Management lifecycle and oversee professional onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring they are tech-enabled, consistent, and growth-oriented.

Who You Are

  • Industry Experience:

Professional HR experience in Healthcare, Education, or Child-Focused environments is essential. You’re comfortable in a clinic setting and understand the unique heart of this field.

  • HR Leadership:

You have 5–10 years of progressive experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Tech-Forward:

You are a power-user of Google Suite and HRIS automation tools with a passion for creating efficient, data-driven systems.

  • The Grounded Mentor:

You stay calm in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and find real joy in watching new leaders find their footing.
