Job Description

If you’re always thinking about the next great Reel, spotting trends before they take off, and finding creative ways to turn everyday moments into engaging content, Belmont Park is the place for you. Apply now and help tell the stories of Belmont Park, Cannonball, Draft, FIT Social, and our sister properties while bringing our brands to life across social media.

What Makes Belmont Park Special

Belmont Park is more than a workplace, it’s a place where families create lifelong memories. Our team members help deliver that experience every day by living our core values: Spread Joy, Embrace Community, Serve Others, Live Excellence, Breathe Integrity, and Ignite Growth.

About the Role

The Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing, creating, and managing organic social media content across Belmont Park brands, including Cannonball, Draft, FIT Social, and additional sister properties. This role oversees day-to-day content creation, social calendars, platform management, trend monitoring, influencer partnerships, and photoshoot coordination.

Working closely with Marketing, PR, Operations, Food \& Beverage, Attractions, and Events, the Social Media Strategist ensures each brand maintains its own unique voice and visual identity while creating content that drives engagement, growth, and overall brand visibility.

Your Role at Belmont Park

As a Social Media Strategist, you’ll be one of the creative voices behind how guests experience our brands online. From capturing spontaneous moments around the park and producing short-form video to managing influencer collaborations and analyzing performance, you’ll turn what’s happening across our properties into engaging stories people want to watch, share, and experience for themselves.

This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who can balance strategy with execution and isn’t afraid to grab a camera, jump on a trend, pitch a new idea, or quickly pivot when an unexpected content opportunity comes along.

What You'll Be Doing

Multi-Brand Social \& Content

  • Manage the day-to-day social presence and content calendars for multiple brands and accounts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Build exciting, original content around each brand’s unique voice, audience, visual identity, and overall personality.
  • Film, edit, and produce high-quality photo and video content, with a strong focus on Reels, TikTok, and other short-form formats.
  • Write sharp, engaging, on-brand copy tailored to each platform and audience.
  • Plan and execute social campaigns for attractions, food and beverage offerings, events, seasonal moments, and ongoing business priorities.
  • Curate, schedule, publish, and quality-check a high volume of content while keeping multiple timelines and approvals moving.

Influencers, Photoshoots \& Fresh Content

  • Own influencer and creator relationships from start to finish, including sourcing, outreach, negotiation, visit coordination, briefing, and deliverable tracking.
  • Plan and manage on-property photoshoots, helping shape creative direction, shot lists, schedules, talent needs, and final asset delivery.
  • Coordinate photographers, videographers, freelancers, creators, and vendors to maintain a steady pipeline of fresh, high-quality content.
  • Identify buzzworthy collaborations and community moments that expand reach and keep the brands culturally relevant.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, warm, and professional voice.

Strategy, Trends \& Performance

  • Develop content strategies and plans that connect each brand’s personality with its business goals.
  • Stay ahead of social, pop-culture, lifestyle, hospitality, and tourism trends—and quickly translate the right trends into timely content.
  • Track performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Insights; prepare monthly reports and clear takeaways.
  • Use data and audience insights to improve reach, engagement, conversions, and content effectiveness.
  • Experiment, learn, and recommend new formats, platforms, partnerships, and creative approaches.

In-House Collaboration

  • Work on-site and side by side with marketing, PR, operations, food and beverage, attractions, and events teams to uncover stories and capture content in real time.
  • Balance planned campaigns with spontaneous opportunities, shifting priorities, live events, and quick-turn requests.
  • Bring positive energy, fresh ideas, and practical creative problem-solving to a fun, fast-moving team Strategistenvironment.
  • Wear multiple hats and pitch in where needed to support the broader marketing team and guest experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Creative, curious, and always paying attention to what’s happening on social media
  • A strong storyteller who understands how to adapt content for different brands and audiences
  • Comfortable both behind the camera and directing others to capture great content
  • Able to move quickly from an idea to execution without sacrificing quality
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple brands, calendars, deadlines, and approvals
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with teams across different areas of the business
  • Data-aware and interested in understanding why content performs, not just how it looks
  • Adaptable and energized by a fast-paced environment where no two days look exactly the same
