They are looking for a

Senior DevOps Engineer

to join their DevOps team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the production environment, driving strategic infrastructure initiatives, supporting R\&D teams, and building automation to improve scalability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Maintain strong ownership and oversight of production environments
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Design and implement CI/CD best practices, particularly for microservices architectures
Analyze, design, and develop new infrastructure features and improvements
Manage and update Kubernetes (K8s) clusters
Build, maintain, and scale cloud infrastructure

Requirements

6\+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (strong infrastructure background required)
4\+ years of experience with AWS (RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
3\+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically EKS (experience with Calico or Istio is a plus)
Experience with Kubernetes tools such as Keda, Robusta, ArgoCD, Vault/Secrets, service mesh, and canary or blue/green deployments
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, Linux systems, firewalls, DNS, and CDN tools
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, or Datadog
Database experience with SQL and RDS
Programming/scripting experience in languages such as Python, PowerShell, Shell, Groovy, PHP, or JavaScript

This is a

hybrid role based in New York City

, with a 3-day in-office schedule.

Compensation:

$170,000 base
