What role will you play?
In this role you will lead our enterprise Data and Artificial Intelligence Platform, providing strategic, technical and people leadership across a large global team of platform engineers, data engineers and data risk professionals. You will partner closely with senior business and technology leaders to define the platform vision, strategy and roadmap, while ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable and compliant data capabilities that support multiple business groups.
You will act as the key point of contact for platform stakeholders, oversee platform operations and engineering delivery, manage strategic vendor relationships, and drive strong engineering, governance and risk management practices. You will have the opportunity to embed artificial intelligence capabilities into the development lifecycle, support the adoption of compliant artificial intelligence platforms, optimise platform performance and costs, and lead the resolution of significant operational, risk and audit matters.
What You Offer
- 20\+ years’ of experience in cloud platforms, data engineering and enterprise data management
- Demonstrated success leading large, geographically dispersed teams and creating high-performing, transparent and inclusive team environments
- Strong expertise in defining and delivering enterprise data platform strategies, operational excellence frameworks and governance practices across complex organisations
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage strategic technology partners and vendors, and achieve outcomes across matrix environments
- Excellent communication, relationship management and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences while navigating complex risks and priorities
