Job Description

An international healthcare company is seeking an HCP Marketing Manager. The selected candidate will lead the HCP marketing strategy, manage key opinion leader engagement, and drive the execution of integrated marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HCP marketing team by providing direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure strong team execution
  • Develop and execute HCP marketing strategy and annual plans aligned with business objectives
  • Own all HCP marketing initiatives in Japan, ensuring alignment, quality execution, and cross-functional coordination
  • Design and develop sales tools to support scientific and innovative communication with healthcare professionals
  • Build and implement hospital engagement plans targeting KOLs, endocrinologists, diabetologists, and allied health professionals
  • Collaborate with sales, medical, and scientific teams to execute marketing initiatives effectively
  • Plan and manage participation in scientific conferences and congresses at local and international levels
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to support strategic decision-making
  • Conduct market research and develop accurate forecasts for HCP-related activities and budget planning
  • Support portfolio and product lifecycle management in coordination with global marketing teams
  • Contribute to mid- to long-term strategic planning with the marketing leadership team
  • Track KPIs and ensure execution of marketing plans
  • Maintain strong relationships with KOLs and support execution of engagement strategies with the sales team
  • Prepare business estimates and performance insights to support leadership decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with internal code of conduct and applicable regulations
  • Maintain consistent communication between sales force and marketing functions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or a medical-related field
  • More than 10 years of experience in healthcare professional marketing, preferably in diabetes or related therapeutic areas
  • Strong marketing strategy development and execution skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with KOLs and global teams
  • Experience in forecasting and OPEX management
  • Team management and leadership experience
  • Proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience working in healthcare technology or medical innovation environments
  • Experience in diabetes-related healthcare marketing
  • Exposure to new-generation healthcare technology environments
