The Role

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a production environment, focusing on Java-based applications and SQL Server databases.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to prevent future occurrences, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.

• Monitor application and database performance, identify bottlenecks, and maintain system stability.

• Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting, knowledge articles, and incident reports.

• Identify opportunities for automation, implementing scripts and tools to improve efficiency and enhance operational support.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, with 8-10 years of experience in a production support role.

• Proven coding experience with Java, Angular, Kafka, and SQL, along with proficiency in Agile Methodologies and DevOps.

• In-depth analysis skills for SQL Server databases, including query performance tuning, execution plans, and debugging stored procedures.

• Familiarity with AWS, Ansible, Docker, Linux, Microsoft Azure, Python, Splunk, App Dynamics, and AI technologies.

• Ability to read and understand Java code, including object-oriented programming concepts and exceptional handling.
