Electrician - Portsmouth, VA

Job Summary

Our client is full-service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration contractor specializing in all brands’ new installations, repair, and preventive maintenance. They are searching for an electrician to join their team ASAP! We are seeking a skilled Electrician with 3–5 years of experience to join our team

Salary:

$25/hour (flexible/based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and light residential settings. Focuses primarily on commercial projects and light residential work, including apartment complexes. Perform wiring, troubleshooting, and system upgrades Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards Collaborate with project managers and other trades on job sites Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Qualifications:

3–5 years of general electrician experience required Experience in commercial projects and/or apartment complexes preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Requirements:

Must pass a background check Must pass a drug screening Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as needed
