Summar
The
East Regional Sales Director
is responsible for the management and performance of ReVive business within the East as well as overseeing the business being the key account director in the following retailers: Bluemercury, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, among others. The East Regional Sales Director is accountable for achieving retail and net sales goals, inventory management, marketing program development and execution, area budget management and staffing in their region as well as for their key accounts. The East Regional Sales Director is based in New York or New Jersey.

Essential Job Duties:
Sales
- Achieves the retail/net sales goal and implements company objectives of assigned area.
- Develops door and retailer goals via growth strategy with sales team.
- Collaborates with field, marketing, and retailers on market and consumer feedback to continue brand growth.
- Negotiates and manages space and location in stores for better sales results.
- Collaborates with all departments within the company and communicates business needs and opportunities.
Inventory Management
- Works with assigned retailers on a national level to ensure proper stock levels and negotiates net shipments.
- Executes new launch initiatives by retailer and monitors results and stock levels.
- Reviews product levels by retailer to support retail and net sales objectives.
- Leads field team members to maintain optimum store inventory levels by considering market trends, customer needs, marketing plans, and events.
- Monitors and helps manage returns and tester usage in assigned accounts and doors to help manage profit goals.
Team and Business Development
- Recruit, manage and develops the abilities of team members.
- Motivates team to achieve company targets and goals.
- Leads team members to plan, organize, and execute new product launches, promotional programs and events each season.
- Works with the team to develop relationships in stores with associates in and out of beauty, store management and PR to help increase sales.
- Helps execute and follows-up on training programs within retailers and with the field team.
- Provides complete and accurate information to others in an appropriate and timely manner.
Account Management
- Meets with retailer teams (Buyers, Planners, Marketing, Digital) on a regular basis to review sales, marketing, digital results and opportunities.
- Builds and maintains a trusting relationship with accounts by performing all promised tasks regardless of significance with a positive attitude.
- Monitors brand image and opportunities on retailer digital platforms.
- Helps develop marketing programs and initiatives with assigned retailers.
- Helps manage COAD budgets within assigned retailers.
Budget and Resource Management
- Directs team members to allocate marketing materials and sales promotional materials based on seasonal trends.
- Controls and maintains sales team operational expense budgets to meet division’s profit goal.
- Reviews on-going management of marketing and sales promotional resources such as samples, GWP, and collateral materials to ensure the best use of company assets based on sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college.
- Minimum five years of proven experience managing retail and wholesale accounts and teams, driven sales, and built strong client relationships, within skincare, cosmetics, or beauty industries.
- Previous experience managing and leading a sales team across a multi-state or regional territory.
- Strong skills in forecasting, budgeting, and developing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for interactions with internal teams, retail partners, and customers.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to adjust strategies.
- Awareness of competitors, market positioning, and emerging consumer preferences in luxury beauty.
- Thinks creatively and makes positive suggestions and recommendations.
- Proficiency with Teams, Microsoft Office and Outlook Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel within the region to oversee operations and build relationships.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may involve evenings and weekends.
