Senior UI Engineer \| Trading Technology
Location:
New York City
Compensation:
$175,000 to $350,000 base, plus bonus
A leading quantitative trading firm is hiring a UI Engineer to build real time applications used by trading, risk, and operational teams globally.
Responsibilities
- Build complex, data intensive applications using React and TypeScript
- Design scalable frontend architecture and reusable components
- Integrate with C\+\+, Python, and real time backend systems
- Translate complicated trading workflows into intuitive user experiences
- Own performance, state management, testing, and frontend tooling
- Work directly with traders and business users to deliver critical products
Requirements
- Strong React and TypeScript experience
- Background building large scale production applications
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture and performance
- Experience with distributed or real time systems
- Strong product and UX instincts
- Financial services experience is helpful but not required
