Electrical Designer Coordinator

Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical BIM professional to lead the delivery of electrical models for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone confident in technical ownership and coordination across multiple disciplines, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, management, and governance of electrical BIM models in Revit in line with project BIM Execution Plans, client standards, and industry best practice
• Model complex electrical systems including containment, power distribution, equipment layouts, earthing, and lighting for pharmaceutical facilities
• Deliver fully coordinated layouts and construction-ready electrical drawings supporting all project phases
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, audit readiness, and compliance with data management requirements
• Coordinate electrical models with mechanical, HVAC, process, architectural, automation, and structural disciplines in a federated BIM environment
• Execute and manage clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar tools
• Interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, layouts, and vendor documentation into accurate BIM outputs
• Act as BIM interface for electrical engineering, liaising with teams, vendors, and contractors
• Mentor junior BIM modellers, ensuring best practice and promoting workflow improvements
