Our Global Financial Services client is seeking a detail‑oriented HR Operations and Workday Specialist to support our global HR team and help drive the ongoing optimization of our HR systems. In this role, you’ll work closely with HR leadership to enhance Workday functionality, improve processes, and ensure accurate, reliable data across the organization. If you’re analytical, collaborative, and eager to make an impact in a fast‑moving environment, we’d love to connect with you.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HR Operations Lead and HRIS Director to support daily Workday administration and continuous system enhancement.
  • Configure, update, and refine system settings to improve existing capabilities and introduce new functionality.
  • Pinpoint areas where processes can be streamlined or automated for efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve system-related issues as they arise.
  • Assist in managing and troubleshooting integrations connected to Workday.
  • Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, training resources, and communication materials for new and updated processes or features.
  • Provide global support related to employee data maintenance, reporting, and record management.
  • Respond to reporting needs, including building new reports, updating current ones, and supporting dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and alignment across systems.
  • Take part in Workday’s bi-annual release cycles and associated testing.
  • Contribute to various ad‑hoc projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations with hands-on exposure to HR systems and reporting.
  • At least 2 years of direct Workday experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Excel abilities (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables; experience with macros is a plus).
  • Ability to compile HR data, perform analyses, and present insights that support better decision‑making.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable interacting with employees, stakeholders, and external partners at all levels.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
  • Adaptable, comfortable in a dynamic environment, and open to evolving responsibilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and handling several tasks or projects at once.
  • Expected base salary: $75,000–$100,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
