Job Description
Join our dedicated team at Boston Speech Therapy as a Special Education Teacher! We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. This role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $70 to $75 per hour. This is A TEMPORARY position starting ASAP till the end of the school year.
You must have MA Special educators licence.
7th grade class
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing specialized instruction, and supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' unique needs
- Conduct assessments to monitor and evaluate student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to support inclusive practices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members
- Utilize behavioral strategies to promote a positive learning environment
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of teaching methodologies and adaptive strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational experience for all students
Benefits
