Position Overview

A growing Human Capital team is seeking an HR Systems Associate to support and enhance its people technology ecosystem. This role will serve as a key resource for Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams, helping maximize the value of enterprise HR platforms through system administration, process optimization, reporting, user support, and ongoing enhancements.

The ideal candidate combines strong HRIS expertise with hands-on experience supporting both Workday and Greenhouse. This individual will act as a trusted partner to HR and recruiting stakeholders, ensuring systems operate efficiently, data remains accurate, and users receive exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Administration \& Support

  • Serve as a primary administrator for Workday, supporting day-to-day operations across core Human Capital Management functions.
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for HR business processes and system-related inquiries.
  • Partner with Human Resources and cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and user experience.
  • Maintain system configurations, security roles, business processes, and organizational structures.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues impacting users.

Workday Management

  • Support key HR programs and annual cycles, including benefits administration, performance management, compensation activities, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Create and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Manage system integrations and partner with technical teams to resolve data flow and connectivity issues.
  • Perform regular audits and validation efforts to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security.
  • Participate in release management activities, including testing, impact assessments, and deployment planning.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and adoption of new platform capabilities, including emerging AI features.

Recruiting Systems \& Operations

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the applicant tracking system and recruiting technology ecosystem.
  • Support recruiters and hiring teams with system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and training.
  • Configure recruiting workflows, interview processes, evaluation templates, scheduling tools, and integrations.
  • Help optimize recruiting operations through process improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Collaborate with recruiting leadership to align technology solutions with hiring objectives.

Reporting \& Analytics

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics that support talent acquisition and human capital initiatives.
  • Track recruiting activity, hiring trends, system utilization, and key performance metrics.
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests for management and business stakeholders.

Governance \& Compliance

  • Maintain data integrity through ongoing audits, validation procedures, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Support HR technology audits, controls testing, and security reviews.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user guides.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting HR technology platforms and Human Resources operations.
  • Hands-on experience administering Workday, including HCM, business processes, reporting, security, integrations, and data management.
  • Experience supporting and configuring applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse or similar recruiting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, recruiting workflows, and talent management processes.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global HR and recruiting organizations.
  • Familiarity with HR system integrations and third-party recruiting technologies.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled HR or recruiting solutions.
  • Knowledge of HR data governance, compliance, and privacy requirements.
  • Experience participating in system implementations, upgrades, and platform enhancements.
