We are looking for a

Marketing Project Manager

who dares to think differently and trusts their gut. In this role, you will act as the connective tissue between strategy, creative, and delivery ensuring projects run smoothly while enabling teams to do their best work. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, communicate with clarity and confidence, and take ownership of projects from kickoff through delivery across strategy and design engagements.

This is a hands-on role within a collaborative, fast-paced environment where curiosity, accountability, and problem-solving are key. You will work closely with creative directors, strategists, and designers to maintain momentum, align stakeholders, and deliver high-quality, design-led work for global clients.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the project management team lead and be part of the NYC project management team.
  • Attends client meetings with Lead Project Manager and debrief on actions to take after the meeting.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end project management across strategy and design engagements.
  • Build and maintain project timelines, scopes, and resource plans.
  • Facilitate internal meetings, workshops, and reviews.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers before they become problems.
  • Coordinate closely with creative directors, strategists, and designers to ensure alignment and momentum.
  • Support the development of project documentation and status reports.
  • Follow up on all open project items with the internal team and track open issues accordingly in Status Reports and timelines, and inform all parties as necessary.
  • Participate in new business and facilitate processes for new business presentations.

Experience \& Qualifications

  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Digital Fluency:

A foundational understanding of digital marketing mechanisms and lexicon.

  • Bias for Action:

A drive to make things happen.

  • Problem Solving:

A genuine interest and enjoyment in solving problems.

  • Experience:
  • 2–5 years of project management experience, ideally in an agency, consultancy, or design studio environment.
  • Experience managing design or strategy projects.
  • Experience facilitating project coordination and managing expectations across internal, 3rd party and/or client teams according to project requirements and work streams from kick off to deployment.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are clear, direct, and adapt your style to different audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-pased environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, you lead by enabling others.

Location

This is an in-office role based at our New York office. We work in a hybrid model with a strong preference for in-person collaboration and a policy that involves 3 days in person at the office in Manhattan. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
