Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Agile Program Manager
to lead and coordinate cross-functional technology initiatives within a commercial pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile program delivery, stakeholder management, and driving enterprise-scale projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple Agile programs and cross-functional project teams.
- Drive program planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including program planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and manage program risks, issues, and escalations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering, QA, and leadership teams.
- Monitor program schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track key performance metrics and provide regular program status updates to leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve Agile processes, delivery efficiency, and team collaboration.
- Support release planning and ensure successful delivery of enterprise applications and digital initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8\+ years of experience managing Agile programs or large-scale technology projects.
- Strong experience leading cross-functional Agile teams in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification.
- Experience managing digital transformation, analytics, or cloud-based initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and enterprise software delivery.
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
