Job Description
The Contract and Vendor Management team within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business is primarily responsible for managing QSS contracts, providing advice on contractual matters and managing vendor relationships.
As The Contract And Vendor Management Officer, You Will
- Participate in ICT contract management activities in line with the requirements of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework and QSS Vendor Management Framework.
- Provide administrative support to the Principal and Senior Contract and Vendor Management Officers within the Contract and Vendor Management team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using contract, vendor, or financial management systems.
- Provide secretariat support for various strategic and contract management committees, including organising meetings, distributing papers, taking minutes, and managing actions and decisions.
- Manage and administer “routine” classified vendor contracts and agreements to ensure business needs are met.
- Other activities as required to support the Contract and Vendor Management team.
- Continuously seek to improve work practices, internal processes, and procedures in support of the organisation's strategic, business, and operational objectives.
