Role Description
Role Overview
As a Digital Workplace Business Analyst, you will provide best-practice advisory support to functional and technical teams throughout solution implementation and ongoing sustainment. You will build strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery across all stages of solution development.
Solution Design and Implementation
- Design solutions and review business process and system-level changes as part of continuous service improvement.
- Facilitate meetings with process owners and stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Develop supporting materials, such as sample dashboards and user journey maps, to facilitate requirements definition.
- Translate business requirements into user stories for the development team.
- Work with the development team to continuously refine documented requirements.
- Create procedures, manuals, and other documentation for systems developed from the gathered requirements.
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore developers to provide guidance on business requirements and functional design.
Production Support and Service Management
Responsibilities
In addition to solution design and implementation, you will support production operations to maintain the stability and effectiveness of implemented solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor system performance and promptly resolve operational issues.
- Manage and prioritize ITSM tickets, keeping stakeholders informed of status and resolution timelines.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Train and support end users so they can use Smartsheet effectively for their business needs.
General Qualifications
- 8\+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
- Ability to think critically and develop solutions that remove operational friction.
- Proficiency with formulas and functions in Excel and Smartsheet.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to help cross-functional users apply Smartsheet effectively to their business needs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, including experience with Lucidchart and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Minimum Technical Qualifications
- Experience building solutions with Smartsheet Premium Applications, including Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, DataMesh, Pivot, Calendar, and WorkApps.
- Experience using advanced Smartsheet capabilities, including sheet automation, cross-sheet references, cell linking, DataTable, Document Builder, and workload tracking.
- Technical understanding of Smartsheet Control Center solutions, including experience building blueprints for multitier program configurations.
Preferred Technical Qualifications
- Smartsheet certifications, including Core Product, Project Management, System Administrator, Control Center Lead, or Control Center Blueprint Builder.
- Experience building workflows with Smartsheet connectors for Salesforce and Jira.
- Experience developing solutions using the Smartsheet API or Bridge workflows is an advantage.

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
