This role is a strategic leadership opportunity focused on shaping and scaling high-impact learning experiences for sales agents in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will lead the design of onboarding, systems training, and product education programs that directly influence agent readiness, compliance, and sales effectiveness. The position blends instructional design expertise with people leadership and cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, compliance, and product teams. You will be responsible for ensuring learning solutions are not only engaging and scalable but also tightly aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Acting as a key learning authority, you will help define standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization. This is a highly visible role where learning strategy directly drives business performance and customer experience.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a team of learning designers, instructional specialists, and facilitation partners focused on sales agent enablement
  • Define and execute the learning design strategy for onboarding, systems training, product education, and ongoing skill development
  • Establish instructional design standards, frameworks, and quality benchmarks to ensure consistency and scalability across programs
  • Design and oversee end-to-end onboarding experiences that prepare sales agents for performance, compliance, and system readiness
  • Develop and maintain systems training for CRM tools, enrollment platforms, and sales technologies
  • Lead creation of Medicare Advantage and product training in partnership with compliance, regulatory, and product teams
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, HR, Product, and Technology teams to align learning solutions with business needs
  • Use data and performance insights to evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve training programs and outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, or a related field
  • 8\+ years of experience in learning design, instructional design, or sales enablement roles
  • 5\+ years of experience leading or managing learning design or L\&D teams
  • Strong expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and blended learning approaches
  • Experience designing training for sales, call center, or customer-facing environments
  • Strong understanding of sales operations and performance drivers for frontline teams
  • Experience working in regulated environments or with compliance-driven content is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with learning technologies such as LMS platforms and content authoring tools
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong learner-centered mindset
  • Master’s degree or CPLP certification is a plus
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage or similar regulated products is highly preferred
