Job Description

Role Overview:

The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and cultural competence to meet individualized patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, partnering with patients and families to set goals.
  • Coordinate and document safe, high-quality care through effective communication and teamwork, supporting performance improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering a skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support resource management, develop protocols, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications \& Skills

  • Associates or Bachelor's nursing degree preferred.
  • Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
  • Minimum five years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care background.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, demonstrating decisive, respectful responses to emergencies.
  • Proficient in technology use, time management, and critical thinking skills.
