We’re looking for an experienced

Software Architect

who enjoys building complex software systems that bridge the digital and physical world.

This opportunity is with an innovative Dutch technology company developing large-scale interactive experiences that combine software, hardware and real-time systems. You’ll work on unique products in a multidisciplinary environment where creativity and engineering come together.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and evolve the software architecture of complex, high-performance systems.
• Guide technical direction and architectural decisions.
• Work closely with software engineers, hardware engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Balance hands-on development with technical leadership.
• Improve software quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Mentor developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Help shape innovative products from concept to production.

What we’re looking for

Required

• \+6 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Architect, Principal Engineer or Technical Lead.
• Strong experience with modern C\+\+.
• Experience with 3D graphics, visualization or real-time rendering.
• Fluent English.
• Experience designing scalable software architectures.
• Experience working on complex software platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and an ownership mindset.

Strong preference

• Unity or similar game engine experience.
• Interactive applications, simulations or immersive technologies.
• Product development experience.

Nice to have

• Robotics or hardware integration.
• Cybersecurity knowledge.
• Embedded systems experience.
