Location:
New Jersey (Hybrid – Average 2 days onsite/week)
Experience:
5\+ years
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage clinical trial vendor sourcing, RFPs, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and execution.
- Negotiate vendor budgets, service rates, payment schedules, and contract terms.
- Oversee vendor contracts, change orders, financial reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with R\&D, Legal, Quality, Finance, and external vendors to drive cost savings and vendor performance.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5\+ years of clinical trial outsourcing or related clinical research experience within the
pharma/biotech industry
.
- Expertise in complex outsourcing models supporting Clinical R\&D and Phase I–IV outsourced services
, including CROs, core labs,
biomarker services
, and central labs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex procurement categories.
- Experience with Phase I–IV clinical trial vendor contracts.
- Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and systems to improve organizational efficiency and cost controls.
- Advanced MS Word and Excel skills.
Preferred:
Laboratory service agreement experience; CRO contract experience is acceptable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred.
