Job Description

Spotify is seeking a Business Strategy & Operations Lead to join our leadership team in Brazil. This role integrates insights, market knowledge, financial understanding, and cross-functional partnership to ensure Brazil is operating with clarity, focus, and strategic coherence. This is a senior individual contributor position (no direct reports), designed for someone who leads through influence and strategic clarity.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a deep, holistic understanding of Spotify’s Brazil business across brand, content, product, and financial performance.

  • Diagnose performance trends, identify structural growth opportunities, and surface emerging risks.

  • Translate insights into clear strategic priorities and actionable investment recommendations.

  • Assess key P&L drivers and evaluate trade-offs to maximize impact and sustainable growth.

  • Support and influence annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring alignment between strategy, targets, and execution.

  • Align stakeholders around clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

  • Drive business rhythm and performance tracking — partnering with cross-functional leads to ensure visibility, accountability, and focus.

  • Maintain oversight of budget allocation and investment effectiveness, identifying opportunities to reallocate resources for higher impact.

  • Build executive-ready narratives for QBRs, planning forums, and leadership reviews.

  • Advocate for Brazil’s needs and opportunities in regional and global forums.

  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the local and regional leadership teams.

  • Who You Are

  • A highly analytical and strategic business leader with 8+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or a related field — ideally within technology, music, consumer internet, or high-growth environments.

  • You combine structured thinking with strong business intuition and are comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy, insights, and execution.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and business performance management, including diagnosing drivers of growth, profitability, and market dynamics.

  • Experience building or influencing business cases, investment proposals, and resource allocation decisions.

  • A track record of translating data and ambiguity into clear strategic recommendations. You can synthesize complex information into concise narratives for senior leadership and global stakeholders.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations, influencing without authority and aligning diverse stakeholders.

  • High ownership and autonomy — you are comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity where it does not yet exist.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).

  • This role is based in São Paulo.
