Job Description
A Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding the organisation’s brand reputation across external and internal stakeholders. This role operates within a fast-paced environment, overseeing communications for multiple brands across NTUC Club, spanning both B2B and B2C portfolios. With a strong emphasis on B2B communications, experience with B2B communications is an advantage.
You will lead and execute integrated communications strategies across external communications, corporate communications, internal communications, and employer branding, ensuring all messaging is cohesive, purposeful and aligned with organisational goals.
The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller and strategic communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of managing multiple portfolios and channels while maintaining a clear, consistent brand voice. Experience in media relations and public relations is an added advantage.
What You’ll Do
External \& Corporate Communications
- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies to strengthen NTUC Club’s corporate reputation across B2B and B2C portfolios
- Craft and manage key messaging for corporate announcements, campaigns, and strategic initiatives
- Work with PR partners and stakeholders to drive media coverage, publicity and brand visibility
- Draft media materials including press releases, talking points, statements and briefing notes
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, and recommend actions where necessary
- Support crisis communications planning and response across external channels
Internal Communications
- Align internal communications messaging with business priorities and external brand positioning
- Partner with leadership to cascade strategic updates, organisational narratives and key initiatives
- Develop and execute engagement campaigns to promote organisational values and culture
- Craft and deliver high-impact messaging across internal channels (e.g., newsletters, emails, announcements, videos)
- Work closely with HR to support employee engagement and organisational alignment
- Support internal crisis communications, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information
HR Recruitment \& Employer Branding Communications
- Partner with HR to develop and execute communications strategies to support recruitment and employer branding
- Create compelling content for talent attraction across digital and social platforms
- Shape and communicate NTUC Club’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
- Support recruitment campaigns, career storytelling and employee advocacy initiatives
Digital Platforms \& Channel Management
- Manage and optimise corporate communication platforms including LinkedIn, corporate websites, and other digital channels
- Drive content strategy and governance for digital platforms to enhance brand perception and engagement
- Oversee content publishing, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone of voice and visual identity
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve channel performance and audience engagement
Editorial \& Creative
- Ensure all communication content adheres to NTUC Club’s house style (UK English)
- Develop high-quality editorial content including speeches, corporate articles and leadership messaging
- Create integrated multimedia content (e.g., videos, social content, visuals) to support storytelling
- Support development of marketing communications materials (e.g., presentations, brochures, videos)
Events \& Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead or support corporate and brand-related events, activations and sponsorships
- Manage vendor coordination and event communications
- Prepare post-event communications and reporting
Brand \& Reputation Management
- Govern brand guidelines across NTUC Club and its portfolios
- Monitor and manage brand reputation across internal and external platforms
- Collaborate with Customer Experience, PR and relevant stakeholders to address issues and opportunities
- Track and analyse communications and brand performance metrics to inform strategy
Requirements
- At least 6–8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications
- Experience in media relations and public relations is an added advantage
- Degree in Mass Communications, Media Studies, or related fields
- Exceptional writing, copywriting and editing skills, with strong critical thinking ability
- Digital-savvy with experience managing corporate digital platforms
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment managing both B2B and B2C portfolios
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively
