RN Charge Nurse

to join our team and play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department.

Job Summary:

As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, supervising and mentoring RN staff, and coordinating and leading shift report to ensure effective communication and continuity of care. You will also develop and implement care plans, monitor resident outcomes, and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living
• Supervise and mentor RN staff to ensure high-quality care is delivered
• Coordinate and lead shift report to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor resident outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia
• Experience in a long-term care setting (acute care experience a plus)
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
