About the Role

We are seeking a

Structural Engineer I / Structural Engineering Specialist I

to support structural engineering projects and contribute to the development of project deliverables. This position will perform basic to moderate structural design tasks, with an emphasis on

structural steel and concrete

.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering and the ability to work under the guidance of more experienced engineers while contributing to calculations, design, drafting, field activities, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic and moderate structural design tasks.
• Perform structural calculations under supervision, with an emphasis on

structural steel and concrete

.

• Prepare portions of plans, specifications, and other project documents.
• Assist with light drafting and basic design work.
• Support field activities and project-related site work.
• Assist with calculations and technical documentation.
• Support permit applications and related project requirements.
• Contribute to report writing and preparation of project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Educational background in

Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

.

• Foundational knowledge of structural engineering principles and design practices.
• Experience or coursework involving

structural steel and concrete

is preferred.

• Ability to perform structural calculations under supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
