Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder

We are currently seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team and contribute to the excellence of our manufacturing processes.

Duties

• Interpret drawings to fabricate components from sheet metal as well as light structural materials.
• Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components using plasma cutters, press brake machines, and hand tools.
• Requires strong welding skills with experience in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
• Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely to move heavy materials and fabricated parts around the shop or construction site.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with construction sites or manufacturing environments involving sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; experience with schematics for mechanical systems is preferred.
