Business Analyst

Role \& Responsibilities

RPA Business Analysis

• Collaborate with the Project Manager in planning and executing assigned RPA

and Agentic Automation projects.

• Work with clients to identify new business opportunities and write business

cases for automation, including opportunities suited to Agentic Automation and

AI Agents.

• Develop understanding documentation, Process Definition Documents (PDD),

wireframes, and functional specifications for both RPA bots and AI Agent-based

workflows.

• Basic understanding of the Automobile, Banking, and Financial Services markets

and their automation needs.

• Apply business intelligence tools and technologies to implement analytical

solutions and measure automation/agent performance.

• Design Process Flowcharts (As-Is \& To-Be Process Flow) and document

complete requirements to avoid understanding gaps, covering decision points

suitable for AI Agent involvement.

• Translate or break down business requirements into development scenarios for

RPA developers and Agentic Automation/AI Agent developers.

• Interact with business users to ensure complete coverage of requirements and

provide suggestions on the best automation approach - whether traditional RPA,

AI Agent-based, or a hybrid (human-in-the-loop via AARI)

Agentic BA \& AI Automation Analysis

• Identify and assess processes suitable for Agentic Automation within the

Automation Anywhere ecosystem, including AI Agents, AI Agent Studio, and AI

Skills.

• Define agent goals, decision boundaries, escalation paths, and human-in-theloop checkpoints using AARI (Automation Anywhere Robotic Interface).

• Document use cases involving Document Automation/Intelligent Document

Processing (IDP) for unstructured and semi-structured data.

• Capture requirements for Generative AI/LLM-based capabilities (e.g.,

summarization, classification, conversational interactions, content generation)

integrated into automation workflows.

• Collaborate with developers to design agent orchestration flows where multiple

AI Agents and RPA bots work together on end-to-end processes.

• Conduct feasibility analysis to determine whether a process requires

deterministic RPA, autonomous AI Agents, or a combination of both.

• Support prompt design and validation efforts in collaboration with technical

teams to ensure AI Agent outputs meet business requirements.

• Ensure documentation reflects responsible AI considerations, including data

privacy, accuracy, and governance for GenAI-enabled processes

Quality, Communication \& Governance

• Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and

documentation skills across both RPA and Agentic Automation initiatives.

• Enable quality assurance checks on deliverables, including validation of AI Agent

behavior, accuracy, and exception handling.

• Contribute to RPA and Agentic Automation governance standards, ensuring

consistent documentation practices across the Center of Excellence (CoE).

Skills \& Tools

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio,

draw.io, etc.) for process documentation and flowcharting.

• Working knowledge of Automation Anywhere (A360).

• Familiarity with Generative AI/LLM concepts (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG) as

applied to business process automation

Exposure to other RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, IBM RPA) is a plus.

• Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
