Job Description
This is a
full-time, contract-to-hire
position with a hospital system, and they're looking for someone with strong inpatient coding experience who is comfortable abstracting ICD-10-CM/PCS codes without relying heavily on CAC.
A few highlights:
- 100% Remote (must reside in
Texas
)
- 40 hours/week with flexible start times
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Inpatient coding with exposure to Cardiology, Spine Surgery, General Surgery, ICU, Orthopedics, and Behavioral Health
- Observation coding experience is a plus (training available)
- AHIMA certification required (CCS preferred)
- Paid travel for a one-day orientation after conversion to permanent and one annual company town hall
Pay Range: $30 - $36/hr
