Position Summary

We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven

Senior Accountant

to lead key financial processes with a focus on recurring revenue recognition, job costing, and inventory management. What You’ll Do

  • Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
  • Analyze and ensure accurate recognition of recurring revenue streams in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform in-depth job costing to support project tracking, margin analysis, and profitability reporting
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, cycle counts, and valuation processes
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Assist in preparing internal financial reports and external financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with tax reporting and regulatory filings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, project managers) to align financial goals with business performance
  • Drive improvements in internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Support external audits and serve as a key contact for auditors
  • Provide mentorship to junior accounting team members

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
  • 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in job costing, recurring revenue, or inventory
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control standards
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP platforms) and Excel
  • Experience in a project-based, manufacturing, construction, or service-based environment preferred
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with recurring revenue billing tools or project management platforms
  • Prior work in manufacturing, construction, or similar industries
