The Role

We’re hiring a full-time English tutor to join our Scholars Program. You’ll deliver high-impact 1:1 tutoring and mentorship for students from Primary to Upper Secondary, supported by strong training, curriculum resources, and a team that ensures you have a steady pipeline of students.

This role is ideal if you’re already a confident tutor and want to level up into a more professional, well-supported, and long-term path in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional 1:1 English mentoring (Primary to JC/IB), primarily in students’ homes
• Design and conduct engaging sessions tailored to each student’s needs and learning style
• Track student progress and adjust strategies to maximise outcomes
• Participate in ongoing curriculum training and professional development
• Create a supportive learning environment that prioritises students’ mental and emotional well-being
• Communicate clearly with parents on progress, goals, and next steps

Requirements (Must-Have)

• Proven experience in 1:1 private tutoring, classroom teaching, or a similar educational setting
• Bachelor’s degree in English / Literature / a closely related field
• Strong command of English (writing, comprehension, analysis, grammar)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — approachable, empathetic, engaging
• Comfortable travelling to students’ homes (travel allowance provided)
• Comfortable being featured in events and social media (as part of representing the program)
• Available to start

IMMEDIATELY

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Degree in English or a related field
• Experience or knowledge with IB / JC / O-Level / IGCSE curriculum / Local curriculums
• Track record of helping students improve grades or confidence consistently
• Passion in fostering the best in the younger generation
• Willingness to reach teach a wide age range.
