The

Regional Operations Manager

is responsible for multiple branch locations’ operational performance including inventory management and leading team members in the areas of inside/counter sales, driver/delivery, and warehouse support. Current Branches in this region are

Burlington, NJ

,

Sharon Hill, PA

,

Exton, PA

, and

Montgomeryville, PA

.

This position services

Rheem Northeast Distribution

and branches within it with up to 75% travel to branches within the region based on business need.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to the assigned region, overseeing all branch activities.
  • Reviews and analyzes regional sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential new markets.
  • Oversees Branch Managers and works with them to develop sales and operations goals for each location, monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Collaborates with sales and marketing to develop programs and promotions to increase sales and/or introduce new products and services.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in the branch region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
  • Schedules and directs regular operations meetings and events to share information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale.
  • Hires and trains Branch Managers.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules, activities, and performance of store managers.
  • Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop budgets, performance goals, and operational strategies.
  • Prepares and implements region-wide budget; monitors and approves expenses.
  • Maintains knowledge of market, competition, industry trends, and best practices for distributor operations, sales, and strategies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7\+ years or more operational experience, preferable within the HVAC industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; OR extensive experience as operations manager required.
  • Proven success in sales, operations, purchasing, and/or inventory management
  • Proven success in managing and mentoring other employees
  • Thorough understanding of company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
  • Capable of working in a fast paced environment with skills to multi-task at different levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service are required
  • Must be able to deal with customers, contractors, and employees in a professional manner
  • High level of organization and follow through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills may supplement above minimum job requirements.

The pay scale for this position $123,800 - $227,340\. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
