Job Description

A large enterprise organization is seeking an experienced Benefits Testing Analyst to support a high-volume HR benefits and payroll testing initiative. This role will focus on validating benefits configurations, payroll deductions, billing accuracy, and system outputs within enterprise HR systems during a critical testing and delivery period.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong experience in HR systems testing, benefits administration, payroll-related testing, and enterprise application validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute functional and regression testing related to HR benefits and payroll systems
  • Validate benefits eligibility, enrollment events, premium calculations, payroll deductions, and billing outputs
  • Perform reconciliation testing between expected and actual billing or payroll results
  • Execute structured test scripts, document results, and clearly capture defects and supporting evidence
  • Validate downstream files, reports, and system integrations
  • Partner with payroll, benefits, and product teams to validate fixes and retest outcomes
  • Support system, user acceptance, and payroll-related testing cycles
  • Ensure testing accuracy within fast-paced, high-volume enterprise environments
  • Provide concise testing updates, defect tracking, and status reporting

Required Qualifications

  • 3\+ years of experience in HR systems testing, benefits administration, or benefits/payroll testing
  • Experience executing functional and regression testing within enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of benefits deductions, payroll alignment, and testing methodologies
  • Experience documenting test cases, defects, and testing evidence
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced testing cycles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing Workday Benefits or similar HRIS platforms
  • Familiarity with benefits billing, premium calculations, and payroll integration testing
  • Experience supporting enterprise benefits enrollment or payroll projects
  • Understanding of effective dating, retroactivity, and benefits eligibility logic
  • Experience testing .NET applications or enterprise HR platforms preferred
