Role Overview

We are seeking a GenAI Engineering Head to lead the development and industrialisation of generative AI systems within enterprise environments.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building production-ready GenAI capabilities that move beyond proof-of-concept into scalable, governed deployment.

You will define engineering standards, architecture, and delivery frameworks for GenAI systems across multiple client and enterprise use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead GenAI engineering strategy and execution
• Build and scale production LLM-based systems
• Define architecture for safe, governed AI deployment
• Establish MLOps / LLMOps best practices
• Oversee engineering teams delivering AI products into production
• Partner with cloud and platform teams on integration

Ideal Background

• Strong software engineering / ML engineering background
• Experience with LLMs, GenAI systems, or foundation models
• History of deploying AI into production environments
• Leadership of engineering teams in enterprise or scale-up environments
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure

Compensation:

UK: £130,000 – £200,000 base \+ bonus

US: $200,000 – $330,000 base \+ bonus \+ equity
